Project Akwidaa School

This is Akwidaa School it is the only school in the local area that the children can go to and even then some parents cant afford to send them.  As you can see the conditions are not acceptable in any circumstance.  How these children learn and pass exams in these conditions is amazing.

I am sure that you agree that in this day and age it is completely unacceptable and that these children need a decent place to  learn and study.  Please help us with building them a new school by donating whatever you can.

We will involve the local village people as well as qualified tradespeople and construct a building that would provide  three separate classrooms and toilet facilities which would enhance their lives for only US$59,000.00

The building design is a simple structure the beauty of this building is that as we obtain further funding we can easily add additional classrooms to the building.

In Ghanaian education is still a distant dream for millions of children especially Akwidaa in Ahanta West istrict.

Most schools do not have proper buildings, with classes held under trees or in dilapidated structures. let alone  basic infrastructure like libraries, computer labs, and adequate classroom furniture.

There's a shortage of essential learning materials such as textbooks, writing materials, and even basic supplies like exercise books.

Poverty, teenage pregnancy, and the need for children to contribute to family income can lead to high dropout rates, especially among girls.

The beneficiaries of the project will include school going Children  from Akwidaa in the Ashanta West District of the Western Region of Ghana, who are in the  age  group  of  5-18  who are suffering from poverty,  who are the victims of domestic or other violence,  who are semi orphans and who have been rejected or neglected by  parents.
